Do you stretch every day? If the answer is NO, then you should start!

Performing a few simple stretches when you wake up in the morning can help you stimulate your:

- Brain

- Lungs

- Digestive System

- Heart

- Skeletal Muscle

Stretching increases blood flow, boosts oxygen levels and helps deliver nutrients to your muscles. It also removes metabolic waste such as carbon dioxide, ammonia and uric acid.

It's also beneficial to use stressing while sitting for long periods of time, like working at your desk. When you start feeling tired or stressed, get up and take a few slow deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth while reaching your hands to the sky and bending slowly side to side, and front to back. Repeat this as many times as you need to until you feel more energized, awake, and relaxed!
